Types of Braces

metal braces

Innovative Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces use elastic or metal ties. The elastic and metal ties apply pressure and friction to your teeth, slowing down your treatment  as well as causing discomfort in many patients.  The In-Ovation R metal braces we use are different! With an innovative free-sliding technology, little to no pressure is placed on teeth as they are gently guided into place.

clear braces

Innovative Ceramic Braces

We use state of the art ceramic braces that are made of translucent materials,  therefore are less visible on your teeth than metal braces, and they will not stain!  We use In-Ovation C ceramic braces, which use an innovative free-sliding technology.  Eliminating the need for elastic or metal ties, so that there is little to no pressure is placed on teeth as they are gently guided into place.  Both the metal and ceramic braces we use work the same way, however ceramic braces are chosen by patients who would like the added benefit of high aesthetics.

Invisible Orthodontic Appliances

Invisalign® uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to straighten your teeth. And, no one can tell you are wearing Invisalign because it's invisible! Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you can eat and drink what you want while in treatment, plus brushing and flossing are less of a hassle. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment. Click here to learn more about Invisalign.

lingual braces

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are hidden behind the teeth and are therefore "invisible" when you smile. Lingual braces are 100% customized to match the shape of your teeth and therefore the metal appliances are created uniquely for you. Lingual braces are a very reasonable option for athletes, models, actors/actresses, musicians who play wind instruments, and adult professionals.
