Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you've always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as comfortable, convenient, and rewarding as possible. We'll use the latest technology, offering a variety of safe and gentle treatment options, giving you the customized, individual care that you deserve.
This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment. Your first visit will begin with a friendly greeting by one of our treatment coordinators who will lead you through a complete tour of our office. You will then receive a complimentary panoramic x-ray and a set of diagnostic pictures.
After we have evaluated your records, we will conduct a treatment consultation to explain all aspects of your treatment in detail, complete with models, videos and pictures. We will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, a written summary of the findings and a detailed plan that outlines your treatment, goals and estimated fees. We encourage questions from both the patient and the parent, and as such we provide ample time to answer your questions. If you would like to get started with treatment the same day as your consultation, to avoid scheduling another appointment, we are always able to accomodate you! If you would like to schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Ibrahim please calls at any of our 3 locations.
When you do choose to receive orthodontic treatment, you will need to schedule your first appointment. Your first appointment is when Dr. Ibrahim will place your new orthodontic appliance. Typically, this appointment is no longer than one hour, and then you're on your way toward your new smile!
Visiting the orthodontist every 6-8 weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Regular checkups last between 20-40 minutes. Our practice will work with you as best we can to make sure that your appointments are scheduled around your busy schedule; so that you will spend less time in the dental chair, and more time enjoying the things you love to do.
We understand that "life happens," so if you're running late or need to reschedule, please let us know, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you're ready to schedule your first appointment, call our practice at any of our 3 locations; we're looking forward to working with you.
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, even during your orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
